Welcome

Welcome to the site that holds the future of your little black dress!

In a worldwide attempt to promote sustainable style, many designers have turned to organic or sustainable fabrics. However, clothing reuse and recycling is becoming increasingly popular as well.

Alongside this movement, six freshman from Parsons, the New School of Design, take on a project aiming to promote this value. As a group, we decided to browse thrift stores for the classic silhouette of a Little Black Dress. This timeless piece will never go out of fashion, but some of these dresses have gone out of style. We paired up and bought three dresses that we believed were in need of a makeover. Creating a new design for each dress, we altered them to the best of our ability and designed a tag to signify our endeavor. We will be giving them back to the original thrift stores to be resold as a trendier Little Black Dress.

Bringing this project to the realm of everyday lives, we hope to inspire you to help recycle the world today for a cleaner tomorrow.
